Mountfield's MTF 98H-SD is a powerful, versatile and highly manoeuvrable side-discharge ride-on mower - providing an effective solution if you don't want to collect your grass clippings. This superb garden tractor is also smooth and slick to drive thanks to it's hydrostatic transmission. With a 98cm cutting width, this ride-on lawnmower makes light work of any lawn up to 2 acres.

  • This fabulous high-performance side-discharge garden tractor is powered by a single cylinder STIGA ST400 petrol engine with a net power output of 7.1kW @ 2800rpm. Boasting hydrostatic transmission – akin to an automatic car’s transmission, Mountfield's MTF 98H-SD ride-on mower is slick, efficient, and powerful.

    Thanks to it's compact size the MTF 98H-SD is easy to manoeuvre as well as taking up less storage space in your garden shed or garage compared to a collecting ride-on.

    The twin-blade cutting deck, with a 98cm cutting width, ensures a superb precision cut with grass clippings being     blown out to the side through the side-discharge chute. Perfect for tackling longer grass. Alternatively, you could choose to mulch the grass clippings using a mulching plate (available as an optional extra) that is simple to fit. When mulching, the clippings are finely cut and blown back down onto the lawn to decompose and return valuable nutrients to the soil, saving you time and money on lawn fertilisers.

    Once the job is done cleaning the cutting deck couldn’t be easier, simply connect your hose to the deck nozzle, turn on the water and engage the blades and you will quickly have a clean deck and blades ready for next time.

    With a wide range of towed accessories available, the MTF 98H-SD extremely versatile in all seasons. Suitable for areas up to 2 acres in size and backed by a five-year extended warranty (T & C's apply)
