Polaris Sportsman 110 EFI Kids Quad Review.

Ideal for the kid who wants to match his Dad's Quad Bike, the Sportsman 110 looks like an adult’s Sportsman. It has decent suspension travel, safety tech, and accessories standard.

The Polaris Sportsman 110 is Polaris’ smallest utility-minded youth ATV, with a 112cc engineant that has EFI and front and rear racks that are actually weight-rated (ideal for carrying lightweight items).

Performance:

The Sportsman 110′s uses the same 112cc engine as the Outlaw 110 EFI. It’s a four-stroke, single-overhead-cam engine that has the benefit of EFI, something fairly uncommon in this segment.

The Sportsman 110′s transmission is an easy-to-use automatic PVT. It has forward, neutral, and reverse gears. Power is sent to the rear tyres via chain drive (this is a rear drive kids quad bike).

Handling:
The Sportsman’s 110 travel of 5 inches front and 6 inches rear are respectable for the class and segment.

Brakes:
The Sportsman 110′s braking power comes by way of dual drums in the front end and matching dual drums in the rear end.

Ergonomics: Comfort and Utility

The Sportsman 110′s ergonomics work for everyone. Ideal if you are looking for a little quad bike that smaller riders can grow into.

Electronics:
Polaris puts high emphasis on safety for the 110-class machines it builds and sells. Like the Outlaw 110 EFI, the Sportsman 110 has a standard adjustable speed limiter and it comes standard with a helmet, whip flag, and safety tether for parents to keep their kids in reach. The Sportsman 110 also has a neutral and reverse indicator light, LED running lights, and both a brake light and taillight.

All in all a great little quad bike to introducce young riders into trailblazing or just helping around the farm. In this day and age of computer games, Internet and Telly, this is the ideal gift to get them out and about.
