Job Description: Experienced Mechanical Engineer

WANTED - EXPERIENCED MECHANICAL ENGINEER TO WORK WITH GARDEN MACHINERY AND SMALL PLANT EQUIPMENT

Congleton Garden Machinery’s workshop is the heart of our business and we need an experienced mechanical engineer to keep this heart beating.

RESPONSIBILITIES
To repair, refurbish and service equipment, tools and machinery.

Be responsible for ongoing communication of estimated dates for all jobs.

Be accountable for own efficiency results and improvement of results towards targets.

Diagnosing faults and understanding root cause of failure.

Communicate parts requirements with Parts Department.

Responsible for finding, implementing and sustaining any suggested improvements to maximise chargeable work to a customer.

Building up equipment including ATVs and Quads and completing all PDIs and paperwork.

Support location of machinery and tools in workshop in-line with CGM safety standards.

Responsible for delivery Hire Association of Europe requirements.

Accountability for ensuring all Health and Safety requirements are adhered to.

Be able to propose, and demonstrate the need for, any improvements needed in workshop area.

Have a passion for all the above and see each responsibility through to its end.
