1. IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT WHEN USING THIS ITEM THE CHAIN REMAINS LUBRICATED AT ALL TIMES TO AVOID EXCESSIVE WEAR TO THE CHAIN AND THE CHAIN BAR.  We therefore highly recommend the purchase of additional GTA 26 Bio-Oil, with its advantages over synthetic oil. Only a few drops of oil are needed per use, so a small bottle will go a long way.
   
2. In order to avoid unnecessary delays when using the saw for more demanding work, a second battery is also recommended.  One battery can then be charged while another is in use.
