Countax Garden Tractors. (Much more than just a lawnmower). What makes the Countax garden tractor stand out from the competition?
A few things, despite the fact that it has a unique cut and collection system, it has been specifcally designed for the British Garden. Wet grass is no issue, a Countax will cut your grass shorter and collect it fully even under these conditions! For those wanting the classic striped finish, look no further than a Countax!
Countax stands out from all it's other competitors, it's a robust garden tractor that can used all year round, even under non-ideal weather conditions.
It is a machine for all season's, you can scarify your lawn in spring, collect those stubborn leaves in autumn and when the cold wintery months kick in, use it for salt spreading. Owning a Countax will be the envy of all your neighbours, this is no way a conventional garden tractor.
Built to professional standards with a heavy-duty steel body, double-skinned and a cast front axle (this comes with the C series only).
Countax stands true to it's description: "Much more than just a lawnmower".
All Countax machines are designed to specifically to cope with the unique British weather conditions. Electronic controls are fully weatherproofed, while it's painted components have surpassed 500 hours of continous salt spray exposure without corrosion.
The Countax garden tractor is the only machine that "cuts in the wet". How many times have we tried to start cutting the lawn and the weather chaanges. With the Countax garden tractor, the job can be completed in wet weather.
Most "ride-on mowers" rely on the air flow caused by the cutting blades to throw lawn and grass clippings into the grass catcher. This can be a noisy inefficient system. What can happen is that under wet conditions, damp grass can get clogged in the discharge chute and deck, this not only gives the lawn an unacceptable finish, but the machine will also require regular unblocking. This is where the Countax stands out from the competition.
The heavy duty XRD deck found in Countax garden tractors, has three hardened-steel blades, these are contra-rotating and throw the clippings to the rear of the deck. The ejected grass is swept up by the rotating brushes of the Powered Grass Collector (PGC). If your lawn is covered in leaves or other debris, just drive over these with the collector engaged.
Most British gardeners dont only want a garden tractor that does the job, they dont want to compromise on a high quality finish. The Countax lawn tractor will give your lawn a striped finish. Stripes are created by the contrasting shades of grass laid flat in one direction and then again in the opposite direction. This effect can be difficult to accomplish with a conventional rotary ride-on mower.
Forgetting our lawns for a minute, there are sometimes some areas that we want to rough cut. Perhaps an orchard or a paddock?
The new XRD deck (found on the C and B series of Countax tractors) is the toughest, most durable rear-disharge deck ever built by Countax. Fabricated from high-grade steel, it is reinforced with a thick impact bar to further protect it from everyday wear and tear. This makes it the ideal large rough cutter for semi-wild areas that you cut infrequently and leave several inches longer.
Looking for good manoeuvrability, remove the grass collector, and this will make the tractor very agile and able to cut around trees and other obstacles. The Countax A series is fitted with a 127cm / 50" Combi deck. Fit an adaptor plate to it, and the machine is instantly transformed into a high-performance mulcher. The grass is cut into very small clippings which are then discharged back into the soil providing it with nutrients.
